"I am convinced that Hunter's Philosophy Department is one of the best kept secrets in undergraduate philosophy programs nationwide. As a philosophy student, I had the opportunity to work with serious scholars who are engaged in the most current debates in their fields. The faculty prepare you to spar with the best of them in philosophical debates. No thinker or set of ideas are too complex for the faculty to discuss them with you, so long as you are willing to ask the hard questions. These scholars are passionate about their work and have managed to cultivate a community of students who are equally passionate about philosophy. They were mentors who nurtured my intellect and supported my aspirations. They challenged the way I thought about the world and the way I asked questions. Being a philosophy major was one of the happiest and most rewarding experiences of my life." -- Gregory R. Zucker, Philosophy, History, and THHP Majors; Mellon-Mayes Undergraduate Fellow; Phi Beta Kappa; BA, Summa Cum Laude, Class of 2008. In fall 2008, entered King's College of Cambridge University for MPhil in Political Thought & Intellectual History.
