The Sylvia E. Fishman Student Center, an extension of the Office of Student Services, was created to provide a safe, friendly, educational, and supportive environment for all students and to help them create a strong foundation for their education. In the Center, students have the opportunity to discuss their various academic issues with professional staff advisors and receive assistance with program planning from our Peer Advisors.



Monday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tuesday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Thursday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Friday: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

ADVISING ON THE GO - SPRING, 2014 (Starting on Feb. 3rd)

"We bring academic advising to you!"

Do you need help with selecting your courses to fulfill your academic requirements? Do you have questions about academic resources that Hunter offers to help you with your courses?

If so, Hunter's Peer Advisors are ready to assist you with these and other academic-related questions. From February 3 to April 24, please visit us at one of the following locations and times:

4TH FLOOR WEST (in front of 417HW):

Mondays: 10:30am - 3:00pm & 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Thursdays: 10:30am - 3:00pm


OASIS, 217 North:

Wednesdays: 10:30am - 3:00pm


Please Note: This program will not run on Feb. 12 (Lincoln's Birthday), Feb. 17 (Presidents’ Day) and Apr. 14th - 22nd (Spring Recess).

To reserve space in the center for an event, please print out the SEFSC Reservation Form, fill it out and bring it to the Student Center, 417 Hunter West, for confirmation.
