The Health Professions Education Center (HPEC) supports student learning and faculty teaching in the health professions by providing state-of-the-art instructional media and technology, audio/visual support, and highly specialized computer learning modules.
The Health Professions Library provides access 65 hours a week to over 26,500 volumes and 224 professional journals housed in its 10,000 square feet.
The Nursing Laboratory provides space for graduate and undergraduate students to learn and practice basic skills and more advanced nursing interventions in simulated outpatient and hospital settings.
The Nurses Writing Project is a mentoring service and narrative writing program aimed to help HBSON students become successful academic writers and healthy nurses.
BEST is a program for pre-nursing and nursing undergraduate students who are committed to academic excellence as a scholar. The program is designed to enhance academic achievement and graduate individuals from underrepresented groups in nursing.
