We are pleased to invite students who are interested in health, wellness and nutrition to join us at the Westchester-Rockland Dietetic Association 5^th Annual Student Career Panel. 

This panel will be hosted in person in conjunction with Pace University – College of Health Professions.  Our goal is to introduce the profession of dietetics to all students and in particular, traditionally underrepresented groups in this profession such as BIPOC and men.

Students will hear from Registered Dietitian-Nutritionists (RDNs) about a myriad of opportunities in the field of nutrition and dietetics, such as research, school food, private practice/entrepreneurship, corporate/industry, and much more.  RDN’s will share insights from their own career paths, answer questions and offer insight for students at all stages of their education and career planning. 

This is a wonderful opportunity for students who are already on the path to a career in the field of nutrition as well as students who are interested in health and science, but are not sure what their next step should be. There will be ample opportunities for networking with other students and professionals.

This is also a great chance for students to meet with Faculty and current students from the Coordinated MS in Nutrition and Dietetics Program at Pace University.  This program is the only Graduate level Nutrition and Dietetics Program in Westchester County.  Applications for Fall 2022 are currently being accepted.
