Land that Internship: Resume & Cover Letter Workshop

This free online event will provide active university and college students access to a cover letter and resume writing webinar and one-on-one feedback sessions with Museum staff from a variety of departments.

PROGRAM GOALS:

  • Broaden access to the National Museum of African American History and Culture internships.
  • Provide personalized resume and cover letter feedback to undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Ensure qualified candidates have the tools needed to create a cover letter and resume that accurately reflects their experience and capabilities.
  • Support the diversification of the museum field.

While this program seeks to improve resumes, it cannot guarantee placement at this or other institutions.

To participate in this program, participants must have access to a device with Zoom capabilities (including a microphone, speaker and camera) and a reliable internet connection.
