It’s a comprehensive support Center for those wanting to do well in their math, stat, or QR course.  Successful students come early in the semester, come often, and come consistently.  It’s in the 68th Street Library on the 7th floor.

What are MATH Study Skills Workshops?

Try to answer these questions:

Do you understand the material during class, but have problems completing the work yourself?

Do you need help with time management and creating a positive study environment?

Do you struggle getting all of the notes down in class?

Do you get nervous when doing math?

Do you wonder what are the best ways and times to study math?

Do you freeze while taking tests?

Do you have trouble trying to remember everything for your class?

If you answered yes to any of them, you should strongly consider attending the study skills workshops offered in the Dolciani Center.  The workshops are offered day, evening, onsite and virtual.  Register for them on Navigate.  Check with your instructor to see if they will give you extra credit for attending.  Here’s the info for the first session – the rest will be on Navigate shortly.
