Personal Statement and Experiences Workshop

The experiences and personal statement sections of your common application bridge the gap between a description of you as a scientist and humanitarian and the metrics provided by your test scores and GPA. Medical institutions need to affirm your temperament and commitment to your intended profession. Your experiences and personal essay are a window into your non-academic mindset. This workshop will take you from brainstorming to strategies for writing your personal statement in the most advantageous light and writing self-reflective experiences. This a required workshop for 2020-2021 Committee Letter applicants.
