Academic Advising

Attention entering Freshmen, transfer students, students with graduation audit questions, students interested in obtaining internships and those interested in Hunter's MA program in Computer Science, discipline-specific academic advising is available to students. Read on ...

In addition to general academic advising, handled by the Office of Student Services, the Computer Science Department offers discipline-specific advising dealing with academic matters largely particular to computer science and the administration of the Department.

Ms. Joseline Marin is the advisor for students WHO DO NOT HAVE AN ADVISOR ASSIGNED. She can answer general questions about CS courses, the CS department, general Hunter core requirements, and other matters pertaining to registration and Hunter rules and regulations. Mr. Eric Schweitzer provides guidance for students in their senior year and also determines elegibility for course equivalencies. He is also the person to contact regarding letters for CPT and OPT.
