Title: How to succeed as a Pre-Health student at Hunter College Panel Discussion
Description: Join us for a panel discussion with current undergraduates and Post Bacc students who will share tips and techniques on how to succeed as a Pre-Health student. Pre-Health students must achieve a grade of B or better in all science courses, engage in research and gain clinical exposure in order to be considered competitive applicants. Come and hear how other Pre-Health students balance these commitments while juggling their academic and extracurricular activities.
This panel discussion is strongly recommended for new freshmen, transfer and Post Baccs students.

Title: Fall 2019 Pre-Med Parents' Orientation
Description: Pre-Med parents want what is best for their children, our students. This workshop is geared to help students and parents understand the deferred gratification entailed in obtaining a degree in the health professions and to bridge the gap between parents’ desire for a better life for their offspring and the student’s desire to pursue their passion. This workshop will be split between two panels: a panel of students will share their experiences and the second panel of admissions professionals and academic advisors will help to guide parents through the maze called the Pre-Med Journey.
