Title: Stress Management for Pre-Health Students
Description: As a pre-health student, stress is an unavoidable part of life. Academics, volunteer hours, extracurricular activities—it all adds up. Unfortunately, many students don’t manage stress well—and struggle as a result. While stress can’t be completely avoided, this workshop will teach you how to reduce stress and anxiety. This workshop is a required workshop for the Pre-Health file. This workshop is also strongly recommended for students who are struggling academically or who are applicants in the current health professions graduate school admissions cycle.

Description: Hunter Pre-health advisors will hold an online group advising session for students with pre-health questions. This session will be held in a classroom setting and will allow students to collectively ask questions of the pre-health advising team and to learn from their pre-health peers. Description: New York-Presbyterian Queens is a Level 1 Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons. The trauma program works in collaboration with the Emergency Department in caring for injured patients. We collect over 200 data points on each injured patient and use this information to generate research ideas that are aimed to improve patient outcomes and care.
