Title: Hunter College Pre-Dental Society Presents: The Life of a Dental Student
Description: Special Guest Speaker: Sabina Korman
We are pleased to invite all students interested in dentistry to our monthly meeting with guest speaker Sabina Korman – 2015 Macaulay Hunter graduate and current D3 student at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Sabina will tell us more about her journey to dental school, as well as her experience as a dental student. She will also be happy to answer any of our questions! Refreshments will be served.
Title: Hunter Pre-Health Student Organization Monthly Meeting
Description: The Pre-Health Organization will be hosting a general meeting. Come out and talk with our E-board and learn about various ways to help become a stronger applicant for Medical school, whether it be learning on where to apply for volunteering, research, what classes to take, when to take the MCAT, and so much more. We will also be discussing our goals and future events for the semester. Everyone is welcome to attend, freshman are especially encouraged to attend since we have specific opportunities for you to get involved with us.

Title: Multiple Mini Interviews: How to Prepare for the MMI
Description: Over forty medical, dental, and osteopathic schools of medicine use the Multiple Mini Interview method of selecting applicants to their program. This workshop will explain the goal of the interview format, what you can expect, what you need to know to be successful, what to do when the scenario goes wrong, as well as offer a practice scenario, and resources for further exploration.
