Arif Mahmud is a third-year medical student at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Arif graduated from Macaulay Honors at Hunter College with a degree in biochemistry, in 2019.
Prior to graduating, he received 10 interview offers which culminated in 7 medical school acceptances, including the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, SUNY Downstate, and a 3 year MD program at Stony Brook University School of Medicine with early acceptance to their affiliated internal medicine residency.
