The Ukrainian Club of Hunter and the Pre-Health Advising office are excited to host a panel discussion with surgeons and nurses from the Razom Co-Pilot Team on their humanitarian medical work in Ukraine. 10 teams have performed over 200 free highly complex surgeries on Ukrainian soldiers and civilians who have suffered severe injuries during Russia's war against Ukraine.
Learn more about the Co-Pilot Project including the patient selection process, unique patient cases, organizational difficulties associated with missions abroad, and their plans for future trips for 2024. There will be time for audience Q&A and informal networking at the end.
Some of our speakers include:
- Yuliia Shama, Co-Pilot Lead
- Luke Tomycz, MD Neurosurgeon, Founder and Clinical Director of Co-Pilot Project
- Manoj Abraham, MD Facial Reconstructive Surgeon
