Come and learn how to suture. The term “suture” is used to refer both to a specific technique for closing a wound, in which the sides of the wound are stitched together, and to the individual stitches involved in the wound closure.

It will be hosted by the lovely Dr. Jacqueline Babayev, DPM and there will be snacks! I know you are all very busy, but this would be an amazing opportunity to learn more about a field where you will be a surgeon in 7 years. The field is a tight knit community, where you will specialize early on and have immense autonomy in your practice.

Podiatry is a diverse multi-faceted field, where you are a surgeon, a healer, and a consultant for diabetic patients in need. Being a podiatrist does not mean just cutting toenails but be a specialized doctor and surgeon, while still having a great work-life balance. Our field is growing every day, and we welcome students of all facets because we believe you are more than your GPA, MCAT, or your extracurricular activities. Please sign up, have fun with us, and learn more about an opportunity that may be the perfect fit for you!

This is a hands-on workshop. You will be given the opportunity to practice suturing. Start perfecting your suturing skills today! Seats are limited.
