This program aims to introduce students to the day-to-day work of advanced practice providers in healthcare.
- Monday, January 6th, 2025—APP 101—Introduction to the Advanced Practice Provider Profession and Education
- Tuesday, January 7th, 2025—Pathways to APP Profession: Past, Present, and Future (history of how the profession came about, different ways in which you can practice as an APP)
- Wednesday, January 8th, 2025—Bringing it all Together: The Interdisciplinary Approach
- Thursday, January 9th, 2025—Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists: Everything you ever wanted to know—but were afraid to ask!
- Friday, January 10th, 2025—Medical VS. Surgical PA
You will receive a certificate of completion if you attend all sessions in their entirety and the opportunity to apply for the 2025 in-person shadowing program at Memorial Sloan Kettering. This virtual program can be included in your health professions CV and graduate school application.
