Hunter College Doubles CS Graduates

 Hunter College Doubles CS Graduates


Hunter College tripled the number of computer science graduates from 5 years ago. In 2016-2017, the college graduated 91 computer science majors. In 2021-2022, there were 251 graduates. In 2018, the college was awarded one of the inaugural CUNY 2X grants from the City of New York. The $5 million grant funded new advisors, faculty, and paid internships. The initiatives goal is to double the number of graduates from the City University of New York (CUNY) with tech Bachelor’s degrees ready to compete for tech jobs in NYC.
