Hunter Physics Student on Morning Edition NPR
One of our Hunter students, physics majors, and AstroCom scholar Betsy Hernandez, was featured on the **nationally aired** Morning Edition NPR program this morning. The segment was about the CUNY AstroCom program, which is part of the Hunter SciMON umbrella, but open to all CUNY undergraduates interested in pursuing a career in Astronomy.
This segment was a huge publicity boost for the program and it's the talk of the town on the professional Astronomers Facebook group that has over 7,600 members.
