Professor Lisa Corinne Davis' Paintings Widely Exhibited this Spring
Professor Lisa Corinne Davis, of the Art Department, has had her work exhibited in several venues this Spring, earning positive reviews in Brooklyn Rail and Art News. Professor Davis' paintings appear at The Lesley Heller Workspace, which is presenting "Keep Out" until May 31, an exhibition which "explores both the intended and unintended consequences of borders, and argues that borders are the place where real dialogue occurs"http://www.lesleyheller.com/exhibitions/20150429-keep-out . Her work also appeared in "Making History" at the StoreFront Ten Eyck Gallery, which presented this survey of the Bushwick art scene, "celebrating one of the most concentrated and diverse artist communities in the world." Finally, Professor Davis' has paintings on exhibit at Gerald Peters Gallery at Art Miami New York.
