Two Hunter Students Awarded by The National Honorary Society for Classical Studies

Patrick Harned won was awared Honorable Mention in the Maurine Dallas Watkins Sight Translation Contests in Advanced Greek exam offered by ETA SIGMA PHI, the national Honorary Society for Classical Studies.

Jennifer Ranck was awarded the Best Paper award by ETA SIGMA PHI, the national Honorary Society for her paper, "Cassandra: The Keen Scented Hound" which she presented at the Eta Sigma Phi National Conference in Chicago last week.  This paper was the result of an honors project in Classics Jen completed with me.  She was also given money through one of President Raab's Student Intiative Fellowships to present another version of this paper at another regional conference (Classical Association for the Atlantic States).
