Student Wins 2014 Undergraduate Achievement Scholarship from Golden Key International Honour Society
Valentyna Kostiuk, student president of the Golden Key chapter at Hunter College, was awarded the Society's 2014 Undergraduate Achievement Scholarship. A letter sent to Professor Sarah Chinn, Chair of the English Department and faculty advisor for Golden Key Society members, states that the scholarship 'recognizes undergraduate members for outstanding commitment to the Golden Key pillars of academics, leadership and service,' adding that, while over 400 individuals had applied for the award, only 23 were granted. Professor Chinn called Ms. Kostiuk's award 'a fantastic achievement.'
