Professor Victor Bobetsky Conducts Workshops on 'Creating Artistry in the Middle School Classroom'

Albany State University, part of the State University System of Georgia, recently invited Dr. Victor Bobetsky, of the Music Department, to talk to music education students about strategies for applying and interviewing for jobs as public school music teachers.  In addition, Professor Bobetsky gave an evening workshop for music education students, college faculty, public school music teachers from Dougherty County, and area church choir directors entitled, "Creating Artistry in the Middle School Classroom," which featured many of the published choral arrangements he's created for that age group.  "The level of focus and the quality of the questions from the students there was exceptionally impressive," said Bobetsky, "and the singing was beautiful."
