Professor William Solecki Interviewed for New York Magazine Article on Climate Change and Possible Future Flooding in New York City
Dr. William Solecki was interviewed recently for an article in New York magazine on how climate change and flooding may affect the future of New York City. Solecki, a geography professor and co-chair of the the New York City Panel on Climate Change, a consortium of experts that advises the city government, said "We can't wrap our heads around the fact that the future could be different." Referring to a projected rise in sea-levels, he added "New York is not going to go away. But how will it change? How will this pressure be expressed?"
